Opportunities MASCOM provides state-of-the-art training to young graduates aspiring for a career in print journalism. The next 10-month course will begin in July 2008 and end in May 2009. Classes and practicals will be held on MASCOM premises in the heart of Kottayam. This is a hands-on course, with a heavy emphasis on practical training. Students receive a well-rounded education in journalism and develop advanced skills in reporting and writing for the print medium. Students are also exposed to the state-of-the-art printing technology and communication systems in use at Malayala Manorama and they have ample opportunities to interact with well-known political and media personalities.
